Drawing on our already successful direct mail campaign for the charity, we wrote and designed a lapsed mailing pack and an appeal for use in list swaps. Both produced immediate return on investment. We’re now working with the charity to build a stronger relationship with supporters, including a legacy programme and church packs.

Captain Gabriel Holtea

Striding Edge went aboard the MV Bravo stranded at Immingham Docks to speak directly to captain Gabriel Holtea and his crew. The men were thousands of miles from home with no wages and no way to get back to Romania. By allowing the seafarers to speak for themselves we were able to powerfully convey their desperate plight to the Mission's supporters. 

The appeal was highly successful and was later adapated as a cold pack for use in list swaps.
