We provide fundraising and marketing support for voluntary sector organisations with a focus on direct mail, publications, public relations and consultancy. Our clients are predominantly national charities and include health, religious, overseas aid, pressure group, welfare and disability organisations.

The Team
Striding Edge was founded by Anne Russell and Robert Cohen. They lead the agency and deal directly with clients providing you with highly skilled and individual attention for your projects. We use a number of experienced specialists including copywriters and designers and suppliers including printers and mailing houses.
Anne Russell heads up our fundraising work and has over fifteen years experience of professional fundraising and marketing for charities. Anne has worked for a number of organisations such as Christian Aid and the RNIB as well as the former leading not-for-profit agency, Burnett Associates.
Her work has included award-winning campaigns for Amnesty International and WaterAID. Before establishing Striding Edge, Anne was Head of Fundraising for Mildmay Mission Hospital, the UK’s largest AIDS health care provider where she doubled their voluntary income during her first year. Anne has a broad experience of fundraising from legacy marketing to trusts; however, her specialist area is charity direct marketing including supporter acquisition and development.
Anne is a member of the Institute of Fundraising.
Robert Cohen heads up our publications, public relations and copywriting team having previously spent ten years working for BBC News and Current Affairs as a reporter, producer and programme editor.
Since leaving the BBC and establishing Striding Edge, Robert has worked with our clients providing copywriting for direct mail appeals, leaflets and annual reports as well as undertaking strategic research on supporter and charity publications.
